ja li por ai que sem tmc não dá as infos no CB .....
mas foi o que li , não sei se é verdade ou não

Verdade, sem o TMC nada passa para o quadrante, por isso os americanos o montam, apesar de não terem utilidade para o TMC (info do trânsito).

You do not need a TMC box to use with the Nav Plus. TMC stands for Traffic Message Channel. This is a data stream that is embedded in the FM radio transmitters in Europe. It's pretty cool as it will give you up to the minute traffic reports, and can re-program your Nav system to route you around traffic jams.
Unfortunately no North American station has a compatible data stream, so it doesn't work in North America.
There are two reasons to install a TMC for North America. It will allow the navigation commands and radio stations to be displayed in the center of the instrument cluster. It also enables one more feature.
If you install the unit, you will get one additional screen by pressing the "traffic" button on your Nav Plus.
