Plutocrats, take note: Audi has just announced its refreshed-for-2008 A8 and S8 models. And while you might have to squint to note the differences (reworked single-frame grille, new mirrors with integrated turn signals, LED taillamps, and fresh wheels), there’s plenty of minor changes and improvements that ought to make for a more satisfying drive.
Among them, Audi says it has refined the platform’s standard air suspension and rack-and-pinion steering for better performance, along with adding more sound insulation for better noise isolation.
Technology initiatives include the availability of lane departure and blind spot warning systems, and other changes include new color availability inside-and-out.
